Add light to your garden
If you’re lucky enough to have a garden or outside space, it really is important to make the most of it. By simply adding a few lights, you can ensure that you use it in the winter as well as the summer months.
There are many different types of lights that you can get now for your garden. It has been proved that, when looking to buy a house, more people would rather have a garden than an extra bedroom. So making the most if your outdoor space can be beneficial when it comes to selling your property.
Lights can also be practical; for example, by choosing citronella candles that will ward off mosquitoes as well as giving a gentle light. When buying lights, be sure to choose ones that are specifically made for the outdoors… You made need lights with a long extension lead too, if you have to plug them into an electricity supply that is indoors.

Where to hang the lights in your garden
Smaller fairy lights can look beautiful strung between trees. They are also a good choice if you do not have much space, as you can hang them over smaller bushes or shrubs. If you have garden furniture, attaching them to the edges is a good source of soft light.
You could also choose lights that stand in the ground; these are good because they are relatively easy to move, so you can adjust their position if you have more people using the garden.
Other pretty lights you might consider include lanterns, which are lit by either candles or gas, but be sure to extinguish these before you leave the garden as they could be a fire hazard if left unattended.
It’s a well-known fact that improving your garden will increase your property value. A particular way to do this, as this website here suggests, is to make your garden useable all year round, so adding lights will mean you are prepared for every season.
